Agenda: Socializing, a great meal, the year in review and the presentation of the “Fly the Dream” Scholarship for 2017, schedules permitting.
Tickets are $35/person and are available now at Tom’s store, Thomas H Fine Menswear, in Exeter. They will also be available at our meeting this Tuesday, Nov. 14, please plan to pick them up soon so that we know numbers for the caterers.
Donations for the door prize table are also needed, please bring them the night of the Christmas party, the door prizes are a fun addition to the evening.

25 COPA 177 members were treated to an excellent assortment of 9 different chili’s at the last supper meeting of the summer season held at the Sexsmith Airport. After a short business meeting guest speaker Geoff Coulson, Warning Preparedness Meteorologist, Meteorological Service of Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada / Government of Canada gave a very interesting talk about the different types of storm events and weather. The next meeting will be held at the Lions Dens’ Exeter 19:00 hrs November 14, 2017.
From last years plan to have a cross-border fly-out, John Beimers has taken it on to organize this event.
- Fly to Mackinac Island on the 16th, following all the cross-boarder procedures that you have now researched.
- Enjoy the unique experience that is Mackinac Island.
- Stay overnight on the island.
- More sight-seeing on Sunday and fly home at your discretion.
