Febuary 2022 Meeting

When: February 8, 2022, 19:00 hours
Where: The Lion's Den, 135 John St. W., Exeter
What: Not a lot of business, but we will have a short meeting and then discuss plans for the comming year, in the hopes that things will continue to open up.
Addition Notes: We do not have a guest speaker.
Follow-up / Results: Ten members gathered and welcomed Danny DeSilva as a new member. The meeting was informal and we talked about the upcoming flying season and the potential events we may be hosting - regular and speculative, such as:
  • Welcoming the Interprovincial Air Tour to our area
  • The Fly-in Breakfast
  • COPA for Kids
  • The Corn Roast
  • Poker Run
  • Overnight camp-out at Sexsmith
  • A float for the Santa Claus parade
As usual, these events take volunteers and all members are encouraged to think about contributing to their success.

Burt asks that you mark your calendars for June 13th at the Goderich airport for a lunch and social that supports Hope Air. Summer and Tyler are thinking about having a fundraising BBQ at Wingham.
